Darlin era una banda francesa de principios de los noventa. Tuvieron una reseña tan mala de su EP de dos canciones que usaron esa reseña como el nombre de su nueva banda. Gracias a esa mala reseña, llamaron a su nueva banda“Daft Punk”. Su amigo Laurent fui a formar una banda llamada Phoenix.
